Sure, she may not have the name recognition of a Michael Bay or Brett Ratner but at the same time she doesn’t pump out incessant shit to cash a check. Ever since I first saw Strange Days, I’ve kept on eye on her. Plus how cool is it that we have a women action director who puts out some pretty cool stuff, huh? Bad assery, I say! Sorry Lexi Alexander but Punisher:War Zone was absolute shit, please redeem yourself cause you gots something there. And what happned to Mimi Leder? The Peacemaker was kinda cool when I saw it, make some more! I’d love to see more women directors step up and do some more dope action films. Off point, I know. The Hurt Locker is coming in with some strong buzz from the festival circuit and from the looks of the trailer, it seems well deserved. Check it out and let us know what you think.
