This week’s Flashback Feature:
Apollo 13
Ron Howard has been promoting his newest film Angels & Demons heavily this week so you might have seen him peddling his wares on the boob tube. You wanna see that shit, don’t cha? Well don’t worry cause it’s almost time. How about before that, the catch another Tom Hanks/Ron Howard team-up in the film known as Apollo 13. No need for me to explain what it’s all about so I’ll just say is that it’s one of the best astronaut movies ever made (besides Armageddon, of course). Telling the true story of the infamous mission to the moon that went horribly wrong, every beat in the film is on point and really kept you on the edge even though we already knew what the end result was going to be. An excellent film from an superb filmmaker. As usual, the movie starts at 8pm at Edwards Theater in Riverpark & tickets are $5 so that leaves plenty of time & cash to go catch the midnight screening of Angels & Demons. Catch the trailer after the break!
