The City of Fresno’s Downtown and Community Revitalization Department (DCRD) have put out a call to rally the troops to help produce a 30 second PSA to help support a series of festivals taking place in the Fulton Mall. Here’s the official word from the mouth of the email:

!!!ATTENTION LOCAL FILMMAKERS!!!

The City of Fresno’s Downtown and Community Revitalization Department (DCRD) will be coordinating a series of downtown festivals on the Fulton Mall, and we need your help.

We’re looking for a local filmmaker to produce a: 30 second Public Service Announcement (PSA).

This will be a fun and exciting project that, with your participation we will help make Downtown Fresno the place to be this summer.  We are looking forward to hearing YOUR creative ideas on how to best promote this event.

While there is no monetary compensation for this project, you will receive sponsorship recognition on the official T-shirt, the video itself, and print advertisements that may be produced.  In addition you will of course be able to include this production on your own promotional reel.

These PSAs will be distributed to area television stations as well as YouTube (r), Facebook (r), blogs and other video venues.

Oh! My bad, that’s how I predict I’ll be going out. But I digress! Let’s get some quality stuff drawn up and show what Fresno has to offer! Film… Film… Filmmakers! HO!!!
