Been waiting for this movie for awhile now and would love to go see it. Michael Cera is pretty freaking hilarious with his awkward offbeat comedy. What makes this movie even better is it's crazy whacked out originality. I hope i get to see it.

My favorite video game memory was when my mother and us kids would stay up late on Fridays and Saturdays nights playing video games on the intellivison. We would try to beat each other score on astrosmash or burgertime.

Growing up for me consisted of many hours spent on video games and half of that time was spent with my cousin who is a year older than me. To my recollection, we met playing a SNES game and we were immediately each other's favorite family member. From that moment on we grew up switching between each other's houses to finish a game, beat a boss, or simply speed our way down the courses of Mario Kart 64. Each of us would spend at least 10 hours a week playing SNES, N64, and Sega Genesis titles with each other. We would sometimes go as far as calling each other maybe five times within an hour to hear how the other was doing on Zombies Ate My Neighbors for the SNES. Whether it was taking the risk of getting caught playing the original Super Smash Bros. into the late hours of the night to unlock a character or playing Sega Genesis in the garage with extreme heat/freezing cold temperatures, we enjoyed every second of it. Now that we are older, it seems clear as day that we miss those days. I honestly believe that we both made a significant impact on each other's lives and will never forget the bond we made as the Super Video Game Cousins.

The day I went to the zoo and I saw monkeys that reminded me of Donkey Kong, in my head I imagined like I was actually in the game. The biggest monkey started throwing shit at people and I just felt like we were the bad crocodiles

I LOVE Michael Cera so I must see this!!!

Giant slumber party. Goal was to stay up all night playing NES. Only two of us made it all way--myself and my friend Matt. We felt like rock stars.

SO MANY TO NAME! Oddly enough though, my favorite memory would probably have to be watching my older bro play Wizards & Warriors. I was about 8, and that game felt WAY over my head at the time, so I would sit there an basically be a back-seat gamer. "KILL THAT GUY! GET THAT TREASURE BOX! DON'T MISS THAT PLATFORM OR YOU'LL FALL ALL THE WAY DOW-- AW YOU MISSED THE PLATFORM!!" Great times. Beating Rygar was #2. Monster Hunter is #3. ;D

I remember playing Pole Position and winning the race with like a great score and running into my bedroom to get my camera because I wanted to keep that memory forever. I was yelling at my sister to not reset the Atari 2600 until I got back to take the picture. She said she wouldn't because we had been trying to get that score forever. She was waiting and when I was getting ready to take the picture, she reset it just as I pushed down on the button to take the picture. I swear if my mom hadn't been there that Atari controller would have been up her nose.

Greatest VG moment had to be my first time playing The Legend of Zelda. I remember I was probably about 5 at the time and thought it was the coolest thing. That probably was the moment some switch in my head flipped and set me down the road to video game addiction. I mean looking back now, how could it not bother me the rocks in that game look like freakin' snails! :) http://bit.ly/cxf7Mg

The one, and only time I FINALLY beat T.M.N.T. on the N.E.S. I had a little help from the Game Genie, and a case of Bud. Totally worth it for about ten minutes. After that I went to a friends to drink more beer.

I remember my first exposure to computer games. It was 1990. My two year old son disappeared. When we found him, he had made his way onto the lap of our basement tenant, playing "Commander Keen in Invasion of the Vorticons" on his new computer. Barely able to speak, he was enthralled with the game, easily learning the keyboard commands. Quickly hooked, he began a series of forays into the world of computer games and 20 years later, he's still there.
