October is getting closer and this newest trailer for the Spike Jonze adaptation of Maurice Sendak’s children’s book serves as a beacon. On a side note, I’m currently running ideas through my head for Halloween costumes and I’m considering dressing up as one of the creatures from this book. I mean, the resemblance is already there so with some slight modifications, I think I call convincingly pull it off. Time to start hitting up Hancocks!

On another note, did you guys doing any profiling of The Hurt Locker? I’ve heard it’s a sleeper hit and was thinking about catching a viewing of it this weekend at Edwards. That and Julie and Julia.

Yep, pretty happy we got The Hurt Locker here in town but I haven’t had a chance to see it theatrically. Might make it a double feature with Funny People this weekend, too.
