Dem Trailers: Ninja Assassin

I’m a big fan of ninjas and assassins so you figure you put the two together and you’d have a winner, right? Well, I was looking forward to seeing some footage from the film which seems to have been in the can for quite some time now but from the looks of the trailer that was released today, my expectations have been cooled. Sure, it’s got some big names attached to it (The Wachowski Bros. are producing) but I have to say it looks kinda lame so far. Check it out and let me know if you think I’m crazy and need a shuriken to the face.

What about this trailer don’t you like. Is it the sound of the shuriken? Cause that annoyed me. Remember The Hunted? Now that was a ninja movie.

My ultimate ninja movie is “Iron Monkey”. I think “Ninja Scroll” might need a live-action counterpart, though.

looks good, but dont expect any story. this is up there with Robo-Geisha (actually slightly higher then robo-geisha)

for a secret ninja assassin movie there sure are alot of explosions and guns.

ninjas got with the times, rocket lauchers slightly more effective then a ninja star

Ninja Assasin is cheey in my opinion, the action sequence could have been much better .
