Dem Trailers: The Fantastic Mr. Fox

Hey, Wes Anderson! Can I talk to you over here real quick? Coo, coo… Aight, man… I like your movies. Rushmore, fucken Life Aquatic. They were good. Real good! But I have to tell you, this looks kinda wack. I mean your trademark humor & dialogue comes through, no doubt. But the stop motion looks worse than South Park animation and the framing of some of the shots look questionable and lack life. I know you might have been going for the look of your brother’s drawings but it comes of odd in the 2-D plane on film. Look, I hope maybe it was just my slow internet connection that made it look crappy but I’m just giving you a heads up: I might not watch this film if I don’t see some vast improvement. Now go get ‘em, good sir!
