Tonight! A Night at the Oscars

Fresno Filmworks is doing their monthly screening thing again tonight at the Tower Theater but this one is a little different than usual. First, instead of just one film screening, the organization will be presenting the Oscar nominated short films instead. And second, the two screenings will be split up between the live-action category at 5:30pm and animated category at 8pm so if you miss one, you’re screwed so make your choice wisely. For me, I’ll take the animated shorts but the live-action shorts look pretty damn good, too. But it’s hard for me to resist seeing the Oscar winning short Logorama (which you can watch on it’s entirety here on Dumb Drum) on the big screen. Click here to check out the lineups for both screenings. General admission tickets are $10 for each screening and $8 for seniors & students. Or you can catch both programs for the special price of $15 so if you have the time, I suggest you catch them both.
