And it’s begun. Jon Favreau unleashed the trailer for his summer film “Cowboys And Aliens” that’s due to air during the Super Bowl today. As soon as any others hit the web, we’ll try to keep this posted updated. In the mean time, let us know what you think!
Captain America
This was the one I was waiting for… and although it didn’t knock my socks off, I’m definitely still looking forward to the film. Hopefully director Joe Johnstone will come through!
Super 8
Wow… this was the one that took the cake for me as the best movie Super Bowl commercial. Perhaps it may be that it’s an original IP, maybe it’s J.J. Abrams & Steven Spielbergs involvement, who knows. But this… this is a movie I will be there day one to check out.
Fast Five
The big, dumb action movie of the year is here in the form of the latest entry to the TFATF franchise. This trailer, regardless of what you think of the franchise, is effective and will definitely help get people in those seats and kick off the summer blockbuster season. And as a fan, I think I’ll be there along for the ride.
Thor
Not too much new footage here but nerds like myself will take whatever we can take from the next Marvel Studios film. But overall, kinda “meh” on this one.
Transformers: Dark Of The Moon
One of the bigest surprises, this one rocked me world. Sure, so did the previous Super Bowl commercial for the last entry into the franchise and we all know how much the film sucked balls but this one, purely based on that last sequence of Prime kicking ass, will have me checking it out theatrically. Who’s down to peep it out with me?
Yeah, I have zero interest in watching these trailers, let alone the movies in their entirety. But if you want to go see "The King's Speech" six more times instead, I'm down.
"The King's Speech" huh? Transformers is kinda like that as Bumblebee has a speech impediment that only allows him to talk via his radio. Kinda odd that all this advanced technology these fucking robots have and they still aren't able to fix a fucking voice box.
