In all honesty, probably would have not even reported him. Just the encounter alone would have hopefully taught him a lesson but he kinda of took it to the next level but threatening me with a ticket as retribution.

You were in the right, sir. But I never would have had the balls to do what you did. It sounds like if he would have been nice and said “Sorry man, I totally didn’t see you there.” at the begining, you might have forgot to report him.

I'm not sure what I would have done/would do in this situation.
But props for having the gall to even confront it by following him in the first place.
In theory, you should report him for sure.
Here's the thing: do we allow the police to behave in ways that would be unacceptable for anyone not wearing a badge?
If things were flipped around in this case, if you had veered into his lane, without putting a blinker on, how would that have worked out for you? If you'd said "I just didn’t see you. You think if I had seen you I wouldn’t have used my signals," how would that have gone over?

Roque, you should report him and then be prepared to be stopped on a regular basis. There's a popular phrase used by police, "Just another license plate in the computer!"
