I try to be the best geek i can be :) just like how i deduced that in The Hulk: The End story where in a post-apocalyptic future Hulk's strength is increased by the radiation of nuclear fallout, which would mean his strength would have 2 governing principals: 1) his anger and 2)ambient radiation. So by creating a device or a meta-being (superhuman or person with special powers) with the ability to absorb or draw in ambient radiation faster then the Hulk can, you can successfully neutralize the Hulk. And Reed Richards, Hank Pym and Tony Stark thought they were smart.

Sir, you out nerd even me but I will try to go off my own theories on your questions:

I would assume that you are correct about Shang-Chi being able to disable Logan's claws but the death touch would probably not overtake the healing factor as we've all seen dude literally grow back his entire body after decapitation.

And yeah, Iron Man has some weak villains but Whiplash's laser whips should look cool on screen. Hopefully War Machine will explode my head when he makes his appearance.

BEFORE I GO INTO MY COMMENT ABOUT IM2, I HAD A WOLVERINE QUESTION??

Can Shang-Chi (the Master of Kung Fu) disable Wolverine from extracting his claws thru use of pressure points?? Can the death-touch be applied to Wolverine??

Back to IM2. Scarlett is looking hott

IM2 looking great, hope Mickey has a full costume instead of just the center centerpiece beam

i was kinda looking forward to the Mandarin, so it would have a science vs magic kinda deal but maybe they're saving him for later. (not too many big name villanis in IM's rogues gallery)

Comic-Con will have to wait one more year for me as well.

And as for a table, the only thing I could offer to slang would be hand jobs and they can get those for free over at the Gaslamp Quarter.

Black Widow was also part of S.H.I.E.L.D. at one time, so that may be the angle. But I imagine they are just going to have her as a Russian spy, probably somehow in cohoots with Whiplash. Maybe she was hired by Justin Hammer (Sam Rockwell's char in the movie) to do some espionage on Stark Industries since she also did some freelance as well.

In the books, at some point Tony Starks hooks up with Widow (who doesn't he hook up with?) but they do both end up serving as part of the Avengers so don't be surprised if we see Widow show up in the planned Avengers movie in 2011.

Just remember that the movies and the books rarely resemble each other so who knows how they'll use her in here. I thought the first one worked brilliantly and I have little doubts Favreau will keep it going with the sequel.

Going off of your info Brodiemash, I'm already worried about the second film. What does Black Widow have to do with Ironman?

You can read all of the Black Widow's comic book background here but in the film she'll be playing Tony Starks new assistant but not sure how or if they'll work in the Russian spy business. But probably because Mickey Rourke is playing Whiplash, a Russian convict who gets a hold of some Stark-esque tech and goes on a rampage of some sort. Yeah, too much time on my hands.
