Dem Trailers: Nine

Daniel Day-Lewis in a musical. I guess I just never thought about it but if I had to create a list of all the actors in Hollywood that I’d least expect to see in a musical, I think he’d be right up there. Based on a 1982 Broadway production of the same name, there’s some heavy Oscar winners in the film. Besides Day-Lewis, we also get Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Marion Cotillard & Judi Dench. Oh yeah, Fergie is in it too. Bleh. The original play was inspiried by Federico Fellini’s deeply personal film 8 1/2 and it brings me great joy to know that Fergie & Fellini can finally cross paths in my lifetime.
