I hoped that they'd have retained that Romita Jr./Millar grit and be as raw and brutal as the comic. So far this is SUCK-ASS. One more thing, if that's McLovin' playing Red Mist.... fuck. That whole opening scene is also exactly how the comic book started, too. It's going to be interesting to see how the film will be absorbed by non-comic book readers when it's finally released.
