David Lynch talks Star Wars, George Lucas

I’ve never seen Dune but it does strike me as odd that David Lynch would not take the Star Wars gig and then go and do a movie very similar on his own, writing & directing at that! But who am I to judge and Lynch has said that Dune is his least favorite film of his so maybe he just took it as a personal challenge. He does paint a pretty Hollywood image of George Lucas here, though. I wonder what the Star Wars director has to say about Lynch-ie saying he doesn’t LOVE to direct? I guess that does give you some insight into the prequels though. Well one thing David Lynch & I agree on: FUCK salads!
