I have never been great at picking favorites because it depends what I'm in the mood for, but I have to say that I really enjoyed your picks. The only one that I feel wouldn't make it on to my top 5 would have to be Collateral. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a good movie and it does a great job in capturing L.A.'s nighttime atmospheric tone as you said...But I would have to place it somewhere higher up on my list.
