Jedi Squirrel hits G4′s Attack Of The Show

Seems like people on the internet sure love squirrels and lightsabers. A short month after our Avengers trailer swede was featured on G4′s pop culture-centric program Attack Of The Show, Dumb Drum made a return appearance this week as our Jedi Squirrels video was featured in the Around The Net segment of the show. And again we placed second (starts at 4:10 mark) on the count down, beaten by some hip-hop horses but it was a valiant fight. I still think we would have cut those prancing foos down with our lightsabers but whatever.

I can’t drive down the street here in town without coming across a dead squirrel doing it’s best impression of a pancake. All I know is that I’m happy there will be at least one squirrel out there with the means to fight back. Hope you got the extended warranty on those tires you just bought!

Swede Fest 8 is this Saturday and there will be tacos!

The Swede Fest 8 submission deadline has passed and now it’s time to look forward to the goodness we have planned for you this coming Saturday at Full Circle Brewing Co. La Elegante will be making a return appearance bringing along their award winning tacos to feed your hunger. They will arrive at 4:30 p.m. so be sure to get your taco on. Imperial Russian Stout and adobada tacos… it’s going to be delicious! Consider getting there a little early to make sure you get a seat as last time we packed the place out and it became a standing room only deal.

And if you’re looking for something to do after Swede Fest 8 in downtown Fresno, may we suggest attending “Sexy Oz” over at Tokyo Garden starting at 9pm which will benefit Creative Fresno. For all the details on this event, peep out this post over on the Fresno Beehive.

From the entries we’ve received, it looks like we’ll be having quite the program for you all so be sure to spread the word, perhaps grab someone who has never heard of Swede Fest and come on out and have a good time with the community including all of us over here at Dumb Drum. Saturday is going to be an awesome day in Fresno.
